about
Caitlin Cook is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
Exposed to music from a young age by her grandfather Raymond Lubow, who founded Morley and invented the wah-wah guitar pedal, Cook began writing songs at age four, which were mostly about her cats. With her debut EP Bridges to Burn and sophomore EP Thanks for Asking (initially released under the moniker Candid Bandit), she moved onto more mature subjects like rootlessness, ruin, and redemption. She is currently working on her debut album Songs I Wrote for Other People’s Weddings.
“Bridges to Burn may be her debut EP, but it still hits hard in all the right places.”

”Reminiscent of Mitski, she’s full of catchy hooks and indie folk-inspired sounds that make her radio-ready and the perfect addition to your indie playlists."
